Dmitry Medvedev Presidency?
Someone mentioned that the war signaled the end of the Medvedev presidency. But I do not think that is quite true. There never was a Dmitry Medvedev presidency. There was a period of about two months where it was possible for Medvedev to become President, but he lost his shot domestically when Mechal happened, and he screwed up royally when the war began. He lost. The real president of Russia is still Vladimir Putin.
